Choosing the right speed for your needs can be tricky – you don’t want to overpay for a levelof service you don’t need, but you don’t want to buy a plan that is slower than what yourequire. Here is a rough guide to what each speed tier is generally suitable for.
Up to 12 Mbps
Suitable for social media, web browsing, occasional videos – good for light users.
Up to 25 Mbps
Suitable for more intensive streaming and browsing – good for small households/businesses.
Up to 50 Mbps
Suitable for HD streaming, responsive online gaming, using cloud-basedbusiness applications, uploading and downloading large files – good forfamilies/businesses
Up to 100 Mbps
Suitable for 4K video streaming, streaming across multiple devices,uploading and downloading large files, ‘super’ responsive online gaming – good forlarger households/businesses with extremely high multimedia demands, or with manycloud-based services
So, if your needs are not intensive, then it makes little sense to pay extra for tip-top speeds. Keep in mind that you likely cannot achieve these maximum speeds in peak time anyway,and the more members of your household/business you have connected to the internet, theslower your experience will be.

Set Up Fee $110.00
Monthly Charge $65.00 including GST
Total Amount payable in the first month $175.00 including GST(One month of connectivity minimum)

We only offer an unlimited download/upload Opticomm 25Mbps/5Mbps service.
Speed
We provide the unlimited Opticomm 25Mbps/5Mbps service at a speed of 25Mbps download, and 5Mbps upload. These speeds are maximum connection speeds as based on carrier network testing. Actual throughput speeds may be slower and could vary due to many factors including type of content being downloaded, hardware and software configuration & the number of users simultaneously using the network. Devices connected by Wi-Fi may experience slower speeds than those connected by Ethernet cable. We do however have a low contention rate on our network, which
can provide a more consistent speed than popular service providers.
Payment
Monthly access charges are billed on the 1st day of each month, a month in advance. Payment options include credit or debit card and direct deposit.
Equipment
If you require a compatible router for your Opticomm 25Mbps/5Mbps service we are able to supply, configure and send out a router, ready to connect and use, for $190.00 including GST, this fee excludes postage and handling. The router provided is a TP-Link Opticomm compatible Router. You are able to source and use your own network equipment with this service.
